The Miners should and ought to finish higher than fifth. Top three would be nice. I'm going to hope that NMSU does better than expected after the implosion of last season. With the Aggies strong, it makes CUSA a better basketball conference. Of course, we are in a one bid conference, but we still should be in the top ten of conferences. If UTEP can consistently beat a good Aggie team, it raises our profile. Teams are only as good as their competition. The video shown is interesting. If the team goes into the season with a positive team attitude, that will certainly improve their chances.
