Okay here we go. According to Verbal Commits, there are three recruits from Morgan Park HS in Chicago: Ayo Dosunmu (the prize recruit 4 star); Tamell Pearson; and Lenell Henry. There are two recruits from Bolingbrook HS in Illinois: Kaleb Thornton and Joseph Yesufu. Two more from Chicago area: Evan Gilyard and Demarius Jacobs. Another prize recruit is Makhtar Makhtar Gueye from Lake Forest Illinois.
Another interesting recruiting note, Floyd hired a coach from Trinity Valley CC. Floyd is recruiting three players from that Community College. Hyron Edwards is the prize here and he is from E Chicago Indiana. Josh Stamps is from Chicago Illinois and Amaad Wainright is from Kansas City.
As this thread stated, a lot of recruits from Chicago and the state of Illinois in general. Floyd is using the friendship tactics by recruiting teammates in hopes of luring them here. He also did what other coaches are doing, hiring coaches from CC or HS to get recruits from those schools.
