Why reduced the capacity ? I do agree the DHC is completely outdated, two years ago I went to a concert at Ball Arena in Denver CO and WOW, I mean WOW that is a state of the art complex. There is just no comparison between DHC and Ball Arena in anyway possible. It’s like comparing Kiki Romero gimnasio in Juarez with DHC.
I was just referring to seats that are a bit larger, customer friendly with cup holders. It might take out a seat per row, nothing crazy.
People start complaining about paying more than $20 for a ticket. My pair was significantly more than that. I heard of people spending four figures on a single ticket.
Its all Supply and Demand. Gotta have a Product worth more than $20 a Ticket.

Those are resale prices. Floor is general admission standing room. Some people want a seat. I paid a lot more than $350 (face value) for a lower level seat.
With the addition of N. Illinois can we officially say MWC will be the 3rd best G6 league. I think the AAC is barely better than the new MWC by the way. Utep and Walden will win at least 6 games next year and if he stays will be very good in year 3. Those who scoff m, because of Uteps history are well warranted. However we’ve never had recruiting to the level we’ve seen with Walden and if it continues we will see the difference in talent by year 3!

Man it was stupid of me missing Alice Cooper live. I saw snippets of his SB appearance and the man was in fine form like he was in the 70's to mid 80's. Decades of sobriety, religion, golf and humility have done him wonders.
Coldplay is a once in a lifetime event. UTEP has been playing 5 or 6 home games a year for 70 years and will for another 70.
You also have to accept that the dramatic price in tickets is due to scalpers buying them up and immediately posting them on the resale market.

I think you’re failing to see something that you’ve even said in the past about how bad Utep Football Recruiting was and couldn’t be expected to compete at a high level. Question for you? Do you think the talent of a team full of top 75 recruits after 3 years vs a team full of 125 ranked recruits will be better or worse? Simple question let’s see how you answer that?
But we have to accept that talented players can lose games because mentality, coaching, preparation and execution can be the deciding factor in close games.
Walden has definitely brought in better talent, and I applaud that. But just like we didn’t let Dimel off the hook when he was talking about Time of Posession when he was losing we can’t applaud the recruiting if he wins 3 games this fall.
I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking. You and others need to stop with 3 years stuff. Each year is a new year now.
A team full of better players should do better versus the same competition than a team not full of better players.
I get it and agree and it’s yet to be seen at this point. I’m hoping and betting on eking better though. I un like some on here liked Walden and was my number 1 choice.

If PAC Whatever doesn’t show interest in Texas St. I think they might come back a round. This conference will make at least double what Sun Belt is going to get in TV money.
He performed when the sun was still out and thousands were still in line. I have no idea why they put him out so early. There was 30+ minute breaks before Def Leopard and Motley Crue. He easily could have come out an hour later

In all seriousness, with all the departures, I don't think the MWC is better than the MAC in football. They are a step up in basketball, but NIU isn't joining in basketball. Maybe there really is something to that comment about the students being able to study on the plane, because it doesn't make much sense to me otherwise.
The MAC deal pays appx 2-2.5 million per team. Is the increased travel expense worth the 1.5 million? But they said they didn’t like the mid week games.
