NFL Draft Party

I think Beverly is the best pro prospect in the secondary. He's the prototypical NFL corner. Hes 6'1 he can run and hes a way above average tackler for a corner. As it stands today he's a sixth round pick. If he shows improved ball skills this year and gets a few picks he will move up to the 3rd or even 2nd round. Hes got the measurables scouts crave.

Nodding with optimism here. Met the kid last August at Camp Ruidoso and came away impressed with his still-developing social skills and poise. Respectful young fellow, who has benefitted from his UTEP experience -- on the field and off. Previous coaching staff spoke highly of this guy.

If Utep improves overall and wins some games, defensive Secondary is stout and Beverly has a Great year then maybe he gets drafted. That's a lot of ifs. If not Free Agent, but he'll play at the next level he's talented and great size for a corner.
