It’s one weekend a year. Not multiple weeks. It really doesn’t matter if El Paso can or can’t. El Paso isn’t a desirable media market for pro leagues.

You ever stay in an El Paso hotel and they have all the booklets of places to visit while in El Paso?? I have and I have seen Sea World flyers . Here in Phoenix they have Grand Canyon and Legoland flyers even though that's like 5hrs away.
Well isn't it cool that you don't have to go all the way to California or Florida to go Universal Studios??

One Battle After Another, a movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio that was partially shot in El Paso, has a new teaser out today.
I’m not. This movie isn’t a big thing and it will not lead to increased tourism. Just a film with some parts filmed here.

I’m just logical and not a bonehead like you. Your big idea is that Leo finds a “Spanish girlfriend” and decides to move here. Someone from Spain is Spanish. Anyone who speaks Spanish is not, unless they’re from Spain. Why would someone from Spain live here? Spanish speakers are drawn to El Paso over LA, NY, or Miami?
