I have curious how you all think we will fare in the next month.

NMSU- No x 2- They are 4-0 and just beat Colorado State yesterday.
Lamar- Maybe
UNM- Possibly
Washington State- No
Incarnate Word- Yes
Howard- Yes
UNC Wilmington/North Dakota State- No

My guess is UTEP will be 3-8 going into conference play.

Lose at NMSU but then they will play the next 8 or so games at home. Willms being out will hurt but, I say they are .500 by conference time. They will beat UNM.

UTEP has to go 6-2 to be 6-5 before conference play. Where are these wins coming from?

Again, this is the same thing said every single year. Yet, we get the same result, no NCAA tournament. So, yes I think most on here can tell the future, it is you that cannot.

One bid for CUSA, Two for MWC. Nice 2 day stretch for WKU. If they can finish off SMU then you might be right.

La Tech and ODU are both top 20 in the RPI right now. WKU 56. UAB and UTEP > 300

LaTech is 5-0 with wins over UT-Tyler, SE Missouri St, Montana St, George Mason, and Evansville. Their RPI won't be in the 20s for long.

ODU is 4-1 with wins over Towson, James Madison, Indiana St, and Dayton. 3 of those 4 are away from home and a neutral court loss to Temple. Their RPI will drop too once they start playing CUSA garbage. Dayton could be a nice win later, but unless they beat VCU on the road next week, they're just another CUSA team.

Aside from the Purdue win, WKU hasn't done anything this season.

All 3 are better and more successful than UTEP, but almost 300 other teams could say they are too.

Western Kentucky looks good... hung in their tough against 5th ranked Villanova then beat 18th ranked Purdue... they have to be the favorite this year... then we need one more team to step up... the upper half of this conference is going to be pretty strong this year...

The loss to App State already killed UTEPs RPI....again. I win at NMSU would bump us up above 200 and hurt NMSU, but that doesn't mean squat to either team come selection time. That option is already out the window. This team better roll through the CUSA tournament or Floyd can pack his bags.

We will only have 3 upperclassman next year (if they don't leave) and an underwhelming recruiting class. It is the perfect time for a change.

If they were any good we would've beaten Appalachian State. Our RPI will be below 200 again this year. No reason to keep Floyd.

This has to be the case, as there is no other way to explain their delusions. Purple sounds so proud when he says it as if Floyd has actually accomplished something here besides setting our program back for the last 8 years. Again, he is the kind of person only another COACH could love and actually think he is the second coming.
Nattbry spews the same drivel every year, one has to think he is either an assistant coach who wants to keep his job, or the one that had Hillary winning by 12 points.

I don't care what everyone thinks but the top 6 will get in because they would be leading the ACC right now. The only problem is that they will have to go 8 deep for UTEP to get in.

I'm no one's Assistant lol I'm the optimistic, but realistic Head Coach haha. I have made it clear for the last 3 years, that Floyd and this Basketball Program is a disappointment. However it's still too early for Doom and Gloom. There are both signs of the same ol BS and there's signs that this team has much better talent and can turn it around. I don't know if they are or we will be subjected to the same Crap we have been used to with Floyd. So I'm simply reserving my complete Basketball Armageddon Speech til Conf time, is that ok with everyone?
