I believe Deaver had a job offer and it fell through and his significant other works in El Paso. I really doubt he quit KTSM because of FitFam.
FitFam is only part news. Most of their posts are advertisements, lost dogs, gofundmes, and general stupidity.
You aren't wrong. Years ago I would watch the local news and read the newspaper all the time. Now, I get my news elsewhere.
