Not long ago a 20 win season seemed almost certain. Even though that goal doesn't mean as much as it used to, reaching it is now very unlikely. What seemed even more certain was that for the first time with his own players, Golding would have a winning record against Div 1 competition (last year's team was 15-16 against Div 1 competition, despite a late season five game win streak). The Miners need to win one of the next two, or win two games in the CUSA Tournament, to accomplish that rather modest feat. Their best chance to get one of the next two comes tomorrow night at SHSU, who only sport an 11-18 record. The Bearkats are 7-4 at home, however, and the Miners only 4-6 in true road games. This one won't be easy, but I'm going to predict that we get of the schneid and finally win another damn game.

This Miner team is either feeling sorry for themselves or they have a dark cloud over their heads.
This season is really a disappointment for me.
Can the Mighty Miners win a simple road game?
maybe, but don't count on it.
another overtime, heart breaking loss because we believe the ref didn't make the right call.
Old Joe has to go...

Season is done.

Senter, tourney time is "let's talk" time. Get Will Wade before someone else does. Indiana is eyeing him.

It’s gonna be a close one defensively. It comes down to rebounding.
I can assure you, if it’s gonna come down to rebounding, it ain’t gon be UTEP that comes out on top.

EDIT: I just saw dementia said the same thing. Didn’t mean to parrot that.
