Any reasonable university president or athletic director would fire Fool’s Golding tonight. We have neither. It’s the UTEP way.

They're both good wins. The problem is that those teams continued to improve and UTEP got worse.

Some people would try to convince you that means we're a good defensive team. We're fundamentally a lousy defensive team who occasionally gets a few steals. Have been the whole Golding era.

Talk is cheap. He's been saying the same thing all season. These losses are always on him and he takes responsibility. Well taking ownership would be resigning at this point.
It’s insane to me, especially as an Aggie fan, to see both teams with the same W/L ratio going into the last game of the season. UTEP started off strong whereas nmsu choked hard. No way that UTEP should not at least be tied or one game back than nmsu. This is all on bronzing and the players giving up on him.

Ironically UTEP may end up playing SHSU again in the first round of the CUSA Tournament.
If we beat LT Saturday (which is totally gonna happen), we'll end up with the 7th seed. I guess that's........ something.
Not holding my breath on that happening. But if so, we would then play FIU. That would make it a more humiliating loss.
