yeah, generally I don't. I'm primarily here to produce football recruiting content. But Rivals had confirmation of Bynum's intended entry, and so I thought it appropriate to post the relevant scoop
Why was he suspended? For shooting too good? 44.4% from 3 embarrassed the rest of the team?

Looks like Bynum is a difficult guy to deal with. I don’t have a problem with getting rid of problematic people.
I have a problem if Bynum was the best Golding could bring in. If Golding's top NIL get was a bust, whatever the reason, Golding deserves blame.
Just because he was not happy at Depaul does not mean he is hard to deal with. He probably expected to be the man at Depaul and he was not. And instead of juco making him a little more humble it just convinced himself that he is the man.

Do you guys think Golding could win with better players? Let's say they go out and bring in a top recruiting assistant? I think the talent was better than a 7th place finish.
I didn’t see a lot of talent or coaching with this team. I don’t believe any of our players would have been starters in most successful programs.
And seeing everyone left, I don't see any new talent coming in. He couldn't coach the fab 5 to a winning record
The level of talent a team has sets a baseline W/L in conference. The coach can either cause those players to win more games than their talent level or less games than their talent level. The same coach with better talent will win more games because their baseline is higher, and the opposite is true.
Haskins won in the 80s with good talent. He lost in the 70s with bad talent. In both of those cases, he won probably 5-7 more games than the average coach would have with the same talent. But even he couldn't make bad talent a conference champion.
If you gave Golding the players from Houston, he'd win conference. But if you gave him the Liberty or Mid TN players he wouldn't win conference.
