DHC.Is this in the Don or is it in the Foster Stevens Center?
True that. But I'm sure The Don is in need of serious upgrades. The FSC locker rooms have been super nice, this is a good upgrade, ya'll don't know how lucky we are to have the FSC, its a beautiful facility.

Estimated completion date of June 2040.The new arena could be the answer.
The Don is fine. When the team is winning, the crowds fill it up and it's a great environment.Once the city gets its arena up, it’d be awesome if The Don was replaced with a more intimate arena — maybe 8k.

Why would UTEP move their basketball games to the downtown arena, when they already have a venue they already own?
I agree. It doesn’t make sense for UTEP to share revenue with the city.
Exactly! I agree 100% with this! Well said Kickball!I would get rid of 3 student sections and make them GA. Students dont go, so they don't need 5 sections. The most electrifying atmospheres I've ever been to at the Don were when seating was open.it creates a sense of urgency of getting to the game and puts young butts in the seats.
Right, but the city is about to steal revenue from UTEP.
I agree. But at the same time that arena should bring in events that UTEP can not. Don’t forget their roof/rigging can not accommodate modern stage shows.

Wait...did you attend a game there or did you go to school at CSU? I went to school for a year...'95-'96. Well, more accurately, I lived on campus for a year...most of my time was spent in the dorms playing video games.Moby was ugly when I was there in 1995. I see it's still a dump

I agree with you but isn’t the student section already the unofficial GA section? For many years my ex and I would buy the cheapest tickets and then go sit front row in the student section. ...or a center- hung videoboard like at the University of Pittsburgh.
Beer, flame throwers, and video boards. Everyone is buying the Jerry world of sports entertainment. Great for the kids but kids don't buy season tickets.

Get rid of the $18 million dollar deficit (which I can guarantee hasn’t gotten better) the maybe we might get the nice stuff you keep tagging Senter with as if the cash is available

No way, man. Fill it up at 12k. I've been to a few games at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas, and that place *feels* small and intimate yet seats over 16k. That place is magic for KU. Find a way to capture that for UTEP at 12k.
