Good take. Last year, Hamilton played quite a bit in an attempt to neutralize Batcho offensively. IMO, Kalu is giving up too much size and length against Batcho. While Kalu has not been as prone to foul trouble this year, that has to be a concern against Batcho.
Also, Batcho is a good rim protector, so UTEP has to be more efficient when attacking the basket. Last year, I recall Terrell getting his drive attempts blocked 5 or 6 times at LAT. The good news is that UTEP shoots the ball better this year (don't want to jinx them), and LAT can be prone to turnovers. Hopefully, UTEP can bring the defensive intensity they had against Seattle in the first half, and extend that for the entire game.
