Miners have had a small lead almost the entire game. They've played well but haven't been able to pull away. MTSU got hot with some threes to tie it up and send it to overtime. Refs made some truly baffling calls.

Golding can land back on his feet just fine. It's not like he has a Dimel type head coach resume. He does run a clean program, solid character, defense minded and a great community outreach kind of coach. It just is not working, here.

Good motivator and guy. But definitely not one who has shown he can recruit at the CUSA level, much less in the MWC.

We led most of the game, had a 6 pt lead with about 2 min left in regulation, couldn’t finish. Had a 4 pt lead with about 2 min left in OT, couldn’t finish. Lost by 1, missed free throws would’ve erased that. Cant leave in the refs hands where every season it seems like we’re the only team that doesn’t get home cooking. Not renewing my family or my parents season tickets if this clown is still the coach next year.

Fool’s Golding buyout would be $350,000. Would think some of that money that was recently donated to UTEP should be used to send him packing. UTEP needs a complete reboot before moving to the MWC. Of course, expect Senter to extend him a couple of more years instead. After all, it’s the UTEP way. 🤡
