Just thinking, since El Paso overreacts to any kind of inclement weather, if there’s even a hint of snow for Saturday, would the game get postponed? 😳❄️

I say $ 700 the most.$1,000 a ticket
Go to Ticketmaster and look for yourself
Go to Facebook marketplace and look for yourself
I say $700 the most.
Had I known there would be this much interest, I would have bought a row of tickets and resold them on StubHub.
Liar 🙄🙄🙄$700 is in Row 30 and above. Lower level seats are $1,000+. I already made about $20,000.
They got 4,004 for the LA Tech game at home. I doubt they travel that manySOLD OUT! Ticketmaster shows no seats available for sale. I'm sure there's some for resale. My guess is about 3500 Aggie fans will be there.
I remember last hearing it in 90-91.Good one Maniac. IMO, since it has been so long since UTEP has done the chant, I'm guessing very few fans are left that remember what it is. I really think the band would need to initiate it. Apparently, in 2014, they reinstated it for home games:
UTEP men's basketball team opens season tonight 'Amen' chant returns this season
The UTEP men’s basketball team will tip-off the 2012-13 season tonight against Oral Roberts on Bring Back the ’80s night. UTEP players are dressed as iconic 80’s characters in the team’s 2012-13 schedule poster. The men’s basketball season ticket stock features Miner legends from the 80’s...kvia.com
It's been many years, but I think they did away with the Amen chant around the same time they let Strelzin go. I remember opposing schools/coaches complaining about Strelzin's tactics of getting the crowd involved. It's possible that the origin of the chant may have had something to do with it getting axed. It would be great for the younger fans to get a taste of what UTEP basketball was like back in the day. Hopefully, that starts this Saturday.
You saw the prices. Not lying bro.
Lots of Aggies in EP.They got 4,004 for the LA Tech game at home. I doubt they travel that many
That was for 10 tickets. I'm waiting for single tickets to be 1k.
We're bros??
I thought the DHC doors opened usually one hour before tipoff?
If UTEP considered renovating the DHC, Memorial Gym and the Coliseum would be in play.Far less than The Don. And the Coliseum is smaller too. 🤡

UTEP should open the doors at 4:00. They’ll need the extra time for the staff how to figure out the mobile ticket hand scanning devices. Also to accommodate the single will-call ticket window. And also because of the single file entrance into The Don, and everyone must be carefully screened to near cavity searches to ensure nothing illegal is brought inside, like a sealed unopened water bottle. After all, it’s the UTEP way. 🤡I thought the DHC doors opened usually one hour before tipoff?

I heard that Pope JP II ordained it an official sacrilege and the local faithful complained to administration and they had it stopped. If you recall, there was also a nun that would go to the games. HE would kinda lead the party but not sure if he started it or not.I remember last hearing it in 90-91.
"They" didn't do away with it. People just stopped doing it. Much like people say "bring back the Miner Maniacs"... they weren't done away with, they just got older and stopped going to the games

Did you ever go to an event at the Civic Center?? Where you purchased a ticket? That's weird because I never have a problem entering. All they ask is to take off my cap and I'm in no problem. I have never been searched going into the games. There is always somebody (at any event I go to) that has problems scanning their tickets. This isn't a UTEP issue. Unless you get to the game just before tip off, then you will never have to wait.
I always learned to arrive early to any event I go to to. That way I can enjoy the event and avoid any hassles.

Unfortunately in this day and age you have to be careful. It's life in 2025UTEP should open the doors at 4:00. Interesting that you bought tickets to an event at Civic Center? Did you have to get your ticket scanned?? Did you have to pay for parking??

People need to quit engaging with the idiotic comments/questions.Can we please stop talking about the civic center and get back on topic?
