No kidding. I made a donation to see what’s up and sure enough i contributed towards LA Tech basketball!
This explains No Wins complaint about how La Tech always does more with less! 🤔
Speaking from a product testing viewpoint, I would screenshot those and tag all UTEP football, athletics, Senter, and Price and that way they can get the web ppl and developers to work on it. It’s a defect for sure.

Shows how lethargic everyone involved with the administration end of the athletic department is. Zero reason for the site to launch without testing it out. Hours later still the same issue. I don’t even think pathetic is the word.
Shows they had no one testing it in production (live usage) before deploying it.

The issue has been solved. Made another donation this morning and it’s going towards UTEP now.
Hopefully Louisiana Tech returns what they already received lol 😆
I tried to tell you guys. UTEP has a lot of potential, but they are only interested in giving you a lame product, for a premium price.
Too early to tell actually. The proof is in the pudding and they barely poured the milk. Maybe not a great start, but at least they're starting and hopefully the execution improves.UTEP NIL 🤡

A lot of people are struggling right now. I don't think a lot of people are going to give $9.15 a month to receive newsletters, updates, and a decal.
I hope they do. NIL is the only way we will be competitive again.
Unfortunately that is the mentality in El Paso. People want Bueno, Bonito y Barato
I will donate, just got to figure out if I want to go with my heart and support the basketball team, go with my mind and donate to the football team, or trust that the administration will do the right thing and donate to the general fund.
If we could reach 20,000 sign ups, this would generate over $2 million annually. An impactful boost as we launch a new era for UTEP athletics.
Less than $120 a year is well worth it... Of course, many will go above that number, so 20k is not necessarily needed to attain that range. I do wonder if UTEP has enough support that would garner 20k "givers" I think it's probably closer to 3k... Sadly. Any details on that? Insiders?
Naw. UTEP has the best fans in the G6. It’s amazing that they can still get 10,000 to football games for one of the worst programs in the history of FBS. To really sit here and complain it should be more or people should give more, is outrageous.
Outside of 3 seasons, the basketball program has been pretty much trash since 1992. Still getting 4,000 for games though. LaTech can’t get 4,000 when they have good teams.
UTEP hasn’t given El Paso anything for a long time. You can’t keep expecting people to give more and more while receiving less and less.
Football tickets cost the same amount as last season, but with 1 less game. So the per game price is more expensive. Had to pay for a new coach, blah, blah, blah. The fans reward? A 1-7 football team.
Eventually UTEP has to give the fans something. A 7-6 football team once a decade ain’t it.
It's not wanting more for less, its expecting Super Bowl level talent and entertainment for the same UTEP value (or a little bit more). It's the expectation that comes with paying $10-$20 more per ticket. Even if UTEP was as good as Texas all of a sudden, UTEP could never get away with charging what Texas does, because El Paso. People want to see Notre Dame, but they want to pay UTEP prices.

Caracter helping UTEP winning a CUSA title was very fun. (His tearing apart OU for his first UTEP game was tops).
But UTEP isn’t and never has been. UTEP can’t get away with charging UT prices because UT is playing Oklahoma, Kentucky, LSU, and Texas A&M. While UTEP is playing Tulsa, Western Kentucky, LaTech, and Sam Houston.
Are you suggesting UTEP should make tickets to WKU the same price as Texas does for their SEC opponents? Shouldn’t the UTEP games be cheaper?
