Apparently, they were able to add a student tax which will greatly help fund the starting of the football program.
Good luck to them. They will end up being like us and Texas St, not like UTSA.
I don’t know. Pretty good football fans down there. Seems like they’re trying to do it right.
Well if you think UTEP has trouble recruiting, a team in a smaller city with Mexico problems, probably won’t get very many recruits. Their basketball program is horrible.
If I were in the administration, depends on the financial numbers.
If I were a student there, damn right. I wouldn’t pay hundreds of dollars a semester so a FCS football team could take 65-10 beatings from Baylor.

I know a great AD they can hire too!
Mac Brown was getting paid millions to oversee this project and he ran away as fast as possible. Not a good sign.
To take the job at UNC, might have something to do with it.
