And now the 1st player is suing an ex-coach and NIL after defrauding in their promise to pay. He has played 1 year of college football and is now with his 4th school chasing money with barely any college stats to prove his worth. This setup is all wrong.

I would like to see the an NIL lawsuit against a Player.

If a Player opts out of a Bowl Game and has received NIL Money, he's in breach of Contract.

Much Like a Performer who cancels a tour date that people already bought tickets for.

Today on SportsTalk Steve Haskins was talking about the Miner Collective. He brought up Ahmad Bynum 2 or 3 times. He said he is a 4 star player that UTEP would have not have gotten without the Collective.

Also mentioned that Marlon Maxey had a hand in recruiting him to UTEP.

Soon the Little Sisters of the Poor will eventually have to cancel their athletic programs. This will include UTEP and NMSU.
Yep and it will be UTEPs fault. Catering to the cheap, poor planning ahead and inability to keep up with changes. Most people that are on the edge of donation and support eventually give up when they see their money going nowhere.

I found the article linked below interesting for the potential impact on G5 schools, like UTEP. Keep in mind it is an opinion piece, but the numbers presented by the author (Doyle) really show how the NCAA caters to their P4 constituents, which isn't surprising at all.
