Feels good to get a win. However, The QB position is till questionable.UTEP topples FIU for first win of Scotty Walden's tenure

Kennesaw State is still on the schedule. NMSU tooI picked 1 because it's the UTEP way...and 0 wasn't an option.
I say 4. We have an easy remaining schedule and the team “found something” last nightAfter Walden’s 1st win how many games does Utep win this year. Keeping in mind we now play the bottom half of CUSA I say 3.
Our starting QB McConnell is out with a finger/hand injury. Not sure how long McConnell will be out, but Locklear will start until we get him back. What is your coach's fascinating with keeping Locklear in a quarterback. With all due respect the guy was a backup at FCS and should not be starting in FPS.
I played Antonio Gillespie 1on1 there back when I was is high school.
I played pick up at
Lee Moor
Memorial gym
Westside rec
YMCA on the West side
And at Franklin high School outside
I also played at the Tim Haradway basketball camp when he use to have it out here.
Dick.Unless you like a regional conference and don’t see SJSU, Wyoming, and UTEP as schools you want to associate with.
Login to view embedded mediaWhen this defense plays well, they play really well. Pair that with a productive run game and you get a W.
They’d make more money I’m sure, especially with Gonzaga gone.Them and Grand Canyon would the best prospects. Though I am not sure the Gaels are going to blow up their history with the other WCC schools to play San Jose St, Hawaii, Wyoming, and UTEP instead.
congrats coach, and UTEP players!Only if he would have started or started playing in the 1st quarter
I was wondering why we were seeing so little of MbengueI was able to make it to the basketball practice at Eastwood last night. Things that stood at to me were
Kalu hitting 3s during shoot around. That was a nice surprise.
Terrell’s aggressiveness attacking the basket and defensively. He locked up a couple guys. He was super passionate yesterday as well complaining to the refs and things of that sort. Hope that doesn’t happen during the season cause I can see some technicals then
Barnes knocking down 3s in scrimmage. He also made some nice dishes for easy buckets. He looks like an improvement from Powell.
Mbengue playing very little minutes in the scrimmage. He was wearing a brace. Went thru all drills but when the scrimmage started he only played maybe 3 mins in the beginning of it. They had three 10 min periods.
