Is it really that bad or are we overreacting? Yes this game was terrible but the team has been fighting and winning consistently. Most of the conference play is still ahead of us and this could shape out to be a great season. Let’s wait before called for Coach Golding to be executed before seeing how this plays out.
The issue is that you can say that every single year. You don't know how many times I have seen Vegas say the same thing and the season end in great disappointment. Then say the exact same thing the following year.
No one enjoys calling out the team when they lose. Every single person on here wants them to succeed. The issue is that some on here live in that bubble and can't take it when fans are just tired of the same thing over and over. Going to the game and Rah Rah it up is great, but when you get beat down by 30 at home in a game you should be competitive and win to actually show progress, then getting mad because the fans on here are mad is asinine.
If the bubble people want to stay in has mediocrity at best in it, and they are fine with it, great, then don't go crazy on here when the others actually want change and improvement. Fans have every single right to complain because UTEP every single year does the same exact thing. I would argue they are better fans because they want the team to improve.
There does not become a point to where you should not support and hope for the best for UTEP, but in no way should people get mad when the fans start to get frustrated with what is in front of them and no change is happening. I have said it before if you are not, and not lobbying for change, then you are the bigger issue than the supposed fans that complain about it.
Seriously, when was the last time the Miners have not let us down? I am finding a hard time remembering it. Should we still have Price and Floyd coaching? Should Senter still have a job? Again, not making changes when you need them decimates the program, as it runs it into the ground and you have years of what we are seeing. Changes need to be made.
