Must be the old heads acting like we have Kentucky accomplishments. I remember seeing a few NMSU fans frustrated they kept losing in the first round, look at them now. Bringing up the rear with us in DumpsterUSA

They haven’t been close to being in the last 4 in, last 4 out, next 4 out, or anything close to that in 14 years. Yet, UTEP still tries to hire previous head coaches and pays them well. They need to start going back to hiring assistants who they think are ready to be head coaches.

Maybe when UTEP plays in the MWC, things will improve, but if we’re barley beating Jax St and FIU, how are we going to fare when we play UNLV, GCU, Nevada, and UNM?

Right. UTEP is a FBS school in CUSA/MWC, that’s it. It’s ridiculous to believe UTEP could become a basketball school again as well.
