15 point road loss in CUSA. Fact is, they have had a great season thus far, but fact also is they haven't really played anyone. And the day they actually played someone worthwhile on the road, they lose.

No shame in losing to Marshall at Marshall. This is by no means a post to belittle the WBB program, it is a post targeted at all of those Sportstalk callers, and mssg board posters who called and posted many times that the women should be ranked.

Again, they are having a good season, but they aren't ranked material.

Yeah wbb seems to be a different animal. I haven't watched any of their games, but I know that a record like ours ( as impressive as it looks) has to be taken with a grain of salt in women's basketball.

Still, I'm proud of what they've done and this loss by no means defines their season. They will come back stronger, as keitha Adams has built a quality program worthy of our praise...

I listened to the KROD feed. Man we we're within 4. Honestly it was a rough road game. Cold shooting got us and me being a homer really thought the calls were bad. Still believe believe these Miners will make it to the big dance and make us proud!

Upsets happen all the time. The best teams in the nation lose against teams they aren't supposed to lose against. The ATM men's basketball team took a beating last night against Vandy. Would you also say they don't deserve to be ranked in the top 25? I think the UTEP women's team will bounce back and win their fair share of games.
