Shit. Even Rice has shown improvement and look to be a tougher opponent than originally thought. Won against MTSU and a 10-0 lead over UNT at the end of quarter.
Thought we just might squeeze out another dub. Depending on what happens today, this could very well be a 1 win season with the Owls rollin’.

What sucks about that is that the Miners are doing personnel changes and hard counts on every play and its hurt them and hasn't affected Nmsu at all. Illegal substitutions and false starts.

That’s why I’ve been saying next years schedule is even tougher. All those “cupcake” teams we could have beat will be on the road next year. Utsa, RICE, Charlotte, etc. At this point really hard to see any wins.
Well, it was a 47 yard FG, so I can forgive. The Miners came back and just made a 40+ yarder to take the lead.
If half of our drives ended in the end zone instead of fg attempts this wouldn’t be close.
Aggies playing a frustratingly effective "bend but don't break" defense. The Miners are running all over them between the 20s, but keep stalling near the end zone and settling for field goal attempts.

I thought the refs missed a blatant Aggie pass interference on the 2 pt conversion. The Aggie defender had his arm wrapped around the receiver before the ball arrived.
