I have a question. I have watched beach volleyball on the Olympics and enjoyed it maybe because USA always does well. I don't understand why you need 14 players if there's only two on the team. Anybody know?

Thanks Fanatico. So in a competition, how many girls play in the matches? I never followed the tennis arrangements either.
That I don’t know. What little I do know about it is because one of my son’s ex gf played beach vb for Tulane.
Maybe they can travel and play at different spots during the season? Say there is 3 tournaments on a weekend? You can send 4 players to each tournament?
It meets my working definition of a sport.

Can you name the top 10 UTEP Beach Volleyball players of all time... without looking at the roster?
Isn't this the second year? Wouldn't the top 10 be the entire roster?
I'm riffing on Fili's claim that softball isn't a sport because I can't name the top 10 players in program history.
Pretty much especially since we didn’t have a full roster until half way through last season, right?
He can't name the top 5 even with looking at the roster
