Calling Timeout Just Before Halftime??

I understand if it's 4th down, but why did Kugler call timeout on 3rd down right before the half? Arkansas almost scored a touchdown. Also, their clock operator needs to be fired.

I agree that was stupid. Why not just count the losses and go in to the half and regroup.

Judging by Kuglar's reaction, not so sure he's the one the called it. He was clearly pissed. Last 5 seconds were totally missed managed by the refs.

I thought he was pissed because the refs didn't want to grant him the timeout.
