Quick observation about Charlotte: run/pass about 50/50 and they average about 25 points per game. Running game looks like heavy and speed burner alternates in the backfield and the quarterback stays in the pocket, although he can run. They can break long plays and this looks to be their primary style in the passing game with speedy receivers . On defense nothing special but they can give up a lot of yards on the ground and have been exposed with a solid run game. In their NTU win they broke a few long plays early and keep NTU off the field and off balance, in their two losses to App State and FIU they gave up 500+ yards rushing, lost TOP and had their offense kept off the field by the short game. They give up about 28 points a game.
The article says UTEP won 4 games in 2014. The Miners won 7 that season.
