So let's try to get a 2 for 1 in Pheonix with Arizona St and NMSU. They can then return the favor.
The governor nor their respective board of regents would have signed off on sending them to El Paso. Honestly UTEP should have moved our teams elsewhere for the time being.
Yes that’s why I said the city dropped the ball. If we had normal numbers it would be a strong possibility.
I'm not sure that UNM or NMSU would even want to be hosted by El paso (even with normal covid numbers).
That's not too far from how the Haskins Center will look. The two tables normally in the corner are now added to the scorers table. The teams will be seated on the opposite side and spaced out. There is no floor seating and the first few rows will be left vacant.

Expect all four to play in the NCAA Tournament. It's a pretty good year for hoops in Texas; most years are. Down the way, SMU, Stephen F. Austin and North Texas also will all be capable of earning automatic bids for the NCAAs.
