Don't really like the matchup, but it is what it is. Marshall was more athletic and quicker than we were when we last matched up. Only saving grace is they aren't the greatest shooters. Their guards took us to the woodshed and spend most of the time driving to the lane or dishing for easy shots and getting rebound after rebound. Miners might make a game of it if the can keep them off the boards and out of the lane.
6, 3, 2, 1 is pretty rough, but I think we can beat Marshall. Our worst matchup is La Tech though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we lose there. We manhandled WKU, just shot piss poor and gave the game away.
We had LA Tech on the ropes until we let it get away with about 2 min to go. We really were not in the UAB or Marshall games. But this conference is lacking for a dominant team and I predict a there will be a big surprise on who wins it. We are the hottest team win wise coming in but we are by no means a contender and will have to make it on a lot of luck and Edwards continuing to hit form outside. Williams has been off the last 5-6 games and if he comes up big we might be able to pull one or two out. I certainly wouldn't put money on that happening.
They didn’t. If they had they probably wouldn’t have gone 0-3.
