Last night we played against a team that was in 9th place in the conference. Tomorrow we play against the second place team, on that will be looking for revenge from their loss at home to us. I felt confident that we would beat FIU; unfortunately I feel no such confidence against Liberty. I hope I'm wrong.

I know there have been a ton of critics to CUSA and the quality of teams but I have to say that I’m loving this season of basketball with a wide open conference. Each and every team can win any given night. It’s going to be hopefully, a fun conference tourney. I better go buy some Tums to het prepared!

I agree. I really do. If there’s any resistance within me to that statement, however, it’s the propensity of this team to shut all engines down at times. No other way to explain 30 and 29 point losses…especially considering that those losses weren’t to Auburn or Duke or the like, but rather…
