Spring and early summer in the Chihuahuan Desert are dusty, but El Paso and the Borderplex region are experiencing one of their dustiest seasons since the 1930s Dust Bowl.
Interestingly, I was about 40-50 miles away from that epicenter (around Toyah) at the time of the quake. Didn't feel squat. Now, maybe I was distracted or maybe just oblivious, but still...
