Instead, athletic director Mack Rhoades wants to keep his focus on finding Gary Pinkel's replacement. Pinkel resigned as Tigers coach earlier this month for health reasons.

Y'all are high on something if you think we should be playing in a bowl game. We can barely field a complete team at this point with all the injuries, much less without recently departed coaching personnel. Plus we definitely don't deserve to play in a bowl game, nor have we at any point this season. The football season is OVER. Lets move on to basketball.
Football season is never over. This offseason will be very intriguing with two new coordinators installing their systems. Basketball season commenses in March in Birmingham.
Its nice to know that Mack Rhodes landed very well at Mizzou! One of the nicest gentlemen on the face of the earth. Wished he would have stayed at UTEP and become the AD. Am sure many of you guys knew him.
No Thanks, these kids need to recover for next year, Valient Effort this year with the chips stacked against these kids and coaches, but end on a win and move towards next year. Plus this team would get beat by a team with a winning record in a bowl, we're simply too short handed! Why finish 5-8!?
