The world cup is every four years but if you combined four super bowls it still doesn't come close to the ratings of futbol.

To me the 94' final was the best, and I was around for Maradona's hand of god, but this one has taken the cake.

I'm not a huge soccer fan. I am more NFL kinda dude.....however....

Soccer is a world wide sport that even the poorest nations can play. Small countries like Croatia excel at it. I watched damn near every match. It was cool. The final was friggin amazing!!! (funny tidbit....my 10 year old son plays FIFA online. He's pretty good but wanted me to play him. I ended up with Mbappe not knowing a thing. Now I am a fan....)

While the Superbowl will dominate in the US every year in viewers, the World Cup will dominate the globe every 4 years. HUGE difference...not even close...

Penalty shootouts don’t count for goal scoring totals. Mbappe’s hat trick was the only hat trick in that final. If that was the case everyone would be clamoring to shoot penalties in shootouts to pad stats.
