A lack of focus due to an immense lack of discipline, which rests on the shoulders of the head coach and his staff. What happened to curfew? Bed check? Lights out at 10:00, particularly on the eve of a game? On the eve of a game versus your biggest rival?! The inmates are running the asylum! If this is truly what is transpiring, we can forget about this team magically becoming cohesive and competing for a conference championship. This may well get worse before it gets any better.

Can't just hang this on a Coach. If you are college athlete engaging in this behavior in the middle of the season there is a much deeper issue than lack of team discipline or coach oversight. You have to look more at the players, because this was their choice, their behavior.

Extremely serious allegations. May be 106% true, but if this is being floated by a media type, it is journalistic malpractice to just "put it out there" without support. EP media types run the gambit from low rent, chicken crap bloggers to irrepressible homers.
