With the demise of the country club, I'm not sure how prosperous Santa Teresa is these days.

There are some expensive properties the farther up the mountain you go. They have the best views of the city.

@utep2step is in real estate, isn't he? He could probably give a good answer.

Santa Teresa never developed liked they envisioned. In fact, the area looks very depressing now. The areas in El Paso with the richest people are the west side (near the mountains), Willows, Kern Place (near the mountains), and upper valley. There are a lot of homes now in EP valued at over $1 million. I’m not sure if they have ties to UTEP, but most of the new car dealership owners are some of the wealthiest people in El Paso.
