I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump. I ran over and said: "Stop. Don't do it."
"Why shouldn't I?" he asked.
"Well, there's so much to live for!"
"Like what?"
"Are you religious?"
He said: "Yes."
I said: "Me too. Are you Christian or Buddhist?"
"Christian."
"Me too. Are you Catholic or Protestant?"
"Protestant."
"Me too. Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"
"Baptist."
"Wow. Me too. Are you Baptist Church of god or Baptist Church of the Lord?"
"Baptist Church of god."
"Me too. Are you original Baptist Church of god, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of god?"
"Reformed Baptist Church of god."

I said: "Die, heretic scum," and pushed him off.

I will debate you any time, but this is a Utep sports forum and I don’t come here for politics.
The funny thing is that people think there is a right answer... all politicians have been bought and paid for and it’s become like picking between tweedle dee and tweedle dum....
Because this is a Sports Forum and if you want to discuss politics go somewhere else. You are ruining the threads, and almost everyone on here has done an incredible job of just ignoring the posts and re-directing them.
I tell my kids you can go downtown and yell "this person sucks!", just no violence unless you have to defend.
Go to Juarez and yell "the cartel sucks!" for a couple days. A young comedian made wise cracks about them for a while on IG. He was shot. Question gov't working with cartel if you're a journalist in Mexico=death sentence.
Go to Russia and say derogatory things about Putin and you will be bludgeoned than hauled off to jail and beat some more then released with a warning. If you're LBTQ expressing your rights and say Putin needs to go, it will be much worse.
China? You will disappear.
Middle East? Long term jail sentence with possible painful beatings.
"Satellite" Russian countries and Central Asian Countries will have goon gov't officials on you and trumped up charges leading to for sure jail time. Run for office and call them out will lead to your assassination.
Indonesian countries depends on your Religious affiliation. Graft is high like Latin America. Biatch about the graft and government leads to jail at least, murder at worst.
Western European countries? You can biatch publicly all you want but if you're middle eastern or Romany (Gypsy) who call out the government or community you will be ostracized from good jobs and sneered in your community and possibly forced to live in that "other" neighborhood. France practices this. Romany just started integrating in some western Euro countries the last 25 years or so; leaving their past behind....if they agree to settle!
USA you can start a 501c3, blog, affiliate, whatever and get one percent of the vote all while mixing truth with what some think is truth and open carry all sorts of weapons near the capital (this happened under Obama) and you're protected.

Some of us didn't really think Mueller would do much other than what he did. He documented evidence of crimes. He cannot prosecute them himself. That would be up to the head of the corrupt Department of Justice who is just as criminal as his client, the "president" of the United States.

Again, pay attention. I move past most of them. I pick and choose when and what I respond to. I'd say my response rate is in the neighborhood of 10%.
And by the way, this thread is titled "No politics" which makes it a political thread in itself. As such, I don't feel the need to restrain my comments in regards to politics within this thread.
