Something is very wrong here.

Brodericks comes back, it will make a difference just by his sheer presence. But in the mean time, Vint needs to shut up and stop reaching. Same goes for Winn. Their early constant foul trouble is really hurting the team. Moore, Morris and DA are in some type of psycho funk. Air ball 3's by these guys?! Something is not right in their head.

Floyd needs to decide if he wants to win or does he teach Omega a lesson. He did his time. DA isn't getting it done, so give Omega the keys to the car.

My son and I couldn't believe lack of effort and no fight in this proud basketball history. We looked in disbelief?

Thank you. I feel like I'm on an island thinking that same thought. Too little attention being paid to that. The effort, as a whole, was piss poor. Only a wide chasm between staff and players would allow for that 5 games in a row. Something very wrong.

I wonder if the players even like each other, if there's clicks or something? I'm not saying there is or isnt, but there's just a disconnect with no leadership and direction on the court. This team is not without talent. Even opposing coaches see the talent and expect a much tougher game than they get.

Not a doubt in my mind these players get along. There is proof of that.

I fully agree with that statement. In fact, on paper, this is one of CTF's best teams since being back in EP. But in direct opposition to that is the fact that this is probably one of the most underachieving teams, if not the most, since his return.

When you don't even try and grab a rebound offensively and then turn your back on defense without raising hands to even take up any space or face the ball. It's not gonna turn out good.

Now is not the time to criticize but to cheer our team on to victory. Any thing can happen in the next couple of weeks and I think this team will find a leader(s) and become a major factor in the conference race...

Now that's my Christmas wish for everyone

I like your spirit. I really do. It sounds sincere and hopeful. However, aside from the possibility of stumbling upon a profound transformation, though, this team doesn't have "it". There are a few guys, in key positions, who aren't just going to all of a sudden get "it". There is an apparent disconnect that isn't just going to repair itself due to copious amounts of hope. If looked at objectively, not much is different from year to year in the way Floyd runs things, nor how his team's look. That isn't going to magically shift in the coming weeks. I appreciate the gesture, and despite my apparent pessimism, I hope you are right and that your Christmas wish comes true for all Miner fans. Thanks for the well wishes.

My spirit went out last night. Now that doesn't mean I don't have hope, because no matter what only one team is gonna win the tourney and go from CUSA this year and Utep has the talent to do so. What's in question right now is overall effort on the floor and coaching of what should be a talented team. We can't say once Jones gets back he'll be the Savior. That was proven last night when a smaller team whooped our behinds on the boards. The problem here is between the ears of the players and on that bench and until that changes, I see no Xmas Miracles, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

If it makes you feel better, Norfolk benched its best 2 players last night. Their 2nd leader scorer didn't play at all, their best player came off the bench.
