I don’t think we have anything to say about Coaching. Ours hasn’t proved a thing, except he can recruit.

I'm so glad we could enjoy a UTEP (rare) win with no trolls on the thread, but like I mentioned in the "troll" thread some really annoying assholes.
I mean most of us said he was trash when they hired him. He killed all momentum Kill had made.
Walden will never lose to Sanchez. The Rivalry Trophies will stay in El Paso as long as those 2 Coach.
Overall, I’m very happy with the win but disappointed with the poor execution by Walden and the Miners towards the end of the game. Why did we not kick the ball on fourth down and pin the aggies deep in their own field? Those dumb penalties and terrible game management decisions kept the aggies drives alive. I’m hoping Walden and team review a lot of game film during the off season and correct the multitude of mistakes that plagued this team. We also need a new Special Teams Coordinator and revamp that unit. Our offensive play calling was also very inconsistent during the year. We need to clean up that unit too. The defense was the lone bright spot on this team. We had some great individual contributors on the team that played well. We have some solid young players coming back next year and hopefully some great recruits. We will need to replace some key contributors and hope we pick up some good players in the transfer portal or via the juco ranks.

Could you elaborate a bit on this kickball? I thought the talent level on both sides was pretty even, and I honestly thought the game could have easily gotten away from UTEP. Obviously, I respect your opinion as a coach.

I didn’t see that from watching on TV. I never thought I’d be more relieved at a busted play.
I was just trolling the fans who were ready to fire the entire Athletic Department when UTEP was down 24-7.
Kill was an exceptional Coach.
The truth is we were outplayed and the breaks went our way. But it’s great to go into the offseason with this momentum.
I want my coach being honest with players not with the media. The better move was to say that it was his fault then tell his players the truth privately.
