Nope. Everything else is meeting expectations for a first year UTEP HC.
another shitty Utep football season is winding down, little hope for next year with waldens offense
We would have scored if we had Skyler Locklear at QB ... oh, wait.
One question I have Why does Walden spread out the WRS so far away from the QB? By the the time the ball gets to WR corner is already there for the tackle.
I was hoping the defense would stop the other team from marching down the field and scoring in less than a minute. Never fear though, my expectations were quite low and matched reality.

Things open up when the running game is going. Waldens offense relies heavily on that. Obviously that running game has not been there consistently and it definitely wasn't there against Tennessee. Tennessee could stop our run game with 6-7 in the box. And if they were loading the box with the blitz, they had the corners to beat blocks on the outside to hit the screen WR right away.
