Median home prices in El Paso have already pushed many out. This will push on the resale market and lower inventory; therfore, raising those prices. Don't start biatching at the El Paso Central Appraisal District in a two years. And no, the interest rates will not lower it here. They have not lowered. The local media does not report home prices correctly, they are not going down but rather plateauing (in some neighborhoods) but will go up none the less. "Flippers" have increased tremendously here over the years, expect their "flips" to rise even more.
Farmers will get hit hard, again with Trump tariffs, again. It was so bad that many lost their farms under last Trump tenure and farmer suicide rates sky rocketed.
