OT Chihuahuas Are Tied for 1st Place!!!

The Chihuahuas are on an 8 game winning streak and are currently tied for 1st place with Las Vegas. Las Vegas is currently losing to Iowa 2-0, so if Las Vegas loses the Chihuahuas will be 0.5 games ahead. There are only 11 single seat tickets left for the AAA Championship game on September 22 and 70 lawn tickets left. After that, it is only standing room tickets left. Playoff tickets go on sale on Saturday, August 22 at 10 A.M. and they will sell out quick. Go Chihuahuas!!

They are a first class organization and definitely attending a game gives you the biggest bang for your buck in El Paso. I am so happy I cancelled my UTEP basketball season tickets for this season and I will purchase season tickets to the Chihuahuas for next season.

Looks like the season is coming down to the next 3 games against the 51's. I think you gave them bad luck because right after this thread they went into a tailspin. Lucky for them that the 51's have also been playing bad.
They cannot afford to lose any games in this 3 games series as they are 1.5 out with very few to play.

They play 4 in Vegas and 5 in Reno (1 doubleheader). They really need to take 3/4 in Vegas to have a good chance.

In case anybody is wondering, the Chihuahuas would win the tiebreaker with Vegas. The amount of wins against Vegas determines the tiebreaker. Currently, they have played each other 12 times and El Paso won 7 and Vegas has won 5.

Incredible series. If they can only hold on and win the division, it would great for El Paso. I don't want to look too far ahead, but can you imagine if they are in the Triple A Championship game that is held in El Paso. Wouldn't that be incredible.
