OT: Cowboys

Prescott is late on his longer passes today. Reminds me of his 2nd and 3rd years

Earlier he was over-throwing his receivers. Now, under. He's just off today. The whole team is playing like they did against Denver. Credit KC, yes, just like Denver. But the Cowboys are not playing well again today.

I just knew the Chiefs were bringing the house on that 3rd down. I was hoping the Cowboys would dial up a screen; they've had a couple of good ones this game. They needed one there.

But no... just a dial-a-sack blitz.

The Cowboys' top two receivers are out right now. The remaining guys aren't getting much separation and aren't coming down with the jump balls.

Only at a Super Bowl party. Neither the Cowboys or anyone from the AFC West will be in the Big Game.
No on in the NFC has dominated the boys yet. TB escaped with a win but we can keep rolling through the NFC all the way to the Super Bowl.

There’s that “but”. Spoken like a true delusional cowboy fan
I call it reality. No NFC team has shut us down the way the AFC west teams have. At this point it's not delusion until an NFC team brings us to reality.

Cowboys don't match up well with AFC west teams. Hopefully we don't see them in the superbowl.
Cowboys don't match up well with a team with a winning record. Kind of like the Miners. Neither has beaten a team with a winning record. (NE had a losing record when we played them). The streak of no divisional playoff wins since 1995 will remain intact.

The blueprint is out on the Cowboys. The Chiefs defense is mediocre at best. Elliot is a shell of himself, and he and his big contract will be gone next year. This was the type of game years ago where he could have pounded his way down the field.

All you have to do is keep the Cowboys in front of you and force them to run the ball and they will cave. They are not going to beat Arizona, GB, Rams or TB in the playoffs. Settle for another wild card win at best.

It doesn't work like that. We look at the overall record not the record when we played them. Looking at the schedule we would only have 1 team left with a winning record, Arozona. Unless some of the .500 teams win by the time we play them. If you want to use your method then we're 1-2 vs teams with winning records, both losses to AFC west teams.

The Cowboys are not going to matchup well with any team that has a very good defense period. Which is almost all of the winning teams. The Cowboys have played a ton of lousy teams and padded their record against them. New England is the exception, and now they are healthy and Matt Jones has experience.

If you are going to tell me the AFC West is the best division out there, you are mistaken completely. The AFC North is better, as is the NFC West. Secondly the NFC overall is a much better conference as it has at least 5 Super Bowl contenders. So explain to me how the Cowboys are better than Tampa Bay, the Rams, Arizona or the Packers, especially if you can only beat teams with losing records (Giants, Falcons, Eagles, Vikings, Panthers).

The Cowboys are not going to get a divisional playoff win for the 27th straight year. I am a Cowboys fan, but not a delusional one. At least I have no expectation with the Miners because they have a history of bad football, the Cowboys on the other hand have a history of under achievement that may rival the Miners equally in futility.

So much doom. Doom and despair.

Cardinals have beat 2 teams with a winning record

Packers the same

Bucs the same

Rams the same

Cowboys one

A couple of those teams could drop to one win over winning teams if those 6-5 teams lose and drop to .500. Same for Cowboys, a couple of those wins over .500 teams could turn to wins over winning teams if they win. There really isn't that much separation and there's still half the season to go.

Interesting that Tampa Bay only beat one team with a winning record during the regular season last year. Yet they won the Super Bowl 🤔

Interesting that Dallas has not won a divisional playoff game since 1995. Why all of a sudden, when they show their true weaknesses, are they going to change and win this year? When the same thing happens this year, you will be right back in the thick of this thread again next year as if something magically has changed. Maybe you guys are happy with it, I am not, and I am not falling for anything beyond what I see with my own eyes. The Cowboys do not look better than any team you mention, and will not beat them in the playoffs.

Just like the Miners who did not beat a team with a winning record all year. Are they magically going to win a bowl game against one? It's great to be fans, and back your team, but not when you avoid the obvious and think everything is fine and dandy.

That was a ridiculous drive.

Brown needs to learn to cover his man without cheating. Gave them a lifeline twice.

Why didn't Dallas challenge the incomplete pass?
