OT: Cowboys

I tend to agree with this. However, this team lacks discipline like the Miners did under Dimel. Maybe they’d play a little cleaner under someone other than MM.
Who would coach under Jerry? Another puppet since we will have no personnel decisions and will be another sitting duck. Anyone that can see the way this team is set up for the next 4 years under Dak would have to be crazy to take this job.

Jerry will blame McCarthy and the injury to Dak, as he will take no blame for not having a RB and selling the team down the river as Dak the 60 million dollar man.

Seriously, will it matter who coaches with Jerry still the GM?

That was precisely the point I agreed with. In the grand scheme of things, a different coach won’t make much difference. However, game to game, the Cowboys might play a little cleaner.

MM is a fvckn bum. He lacks ability to coach even the basic fundamentals, like coaching linemen who aren’t going to gain ANY significant yards by picking up a fumble and running to just fvckn fall on the ball. Or to let time expire instead of touching a ball on a punt at the end of a half so that the opponent even has the opportunity to put more points on the board. Just zero situational awareness by this team.

In the end, I think everyone knows that until Jerry is gone, any improvement will be marginal.

I have said for years the Cowboys need a disciplinarian as a coach. The only guy that I know that will take that job is Urban Meyer. He had the players crying that they were treated so badly. The only guy that I know who was similar was Harbaugh when he was with the 49ers. Saban also comes to mind, but like Belichick would never coach under Jerry.

For years, the Cowboys have been one of the worst teams penalties wise in the NFL, and one of the worst in the Red Zone. Talent would bail them out during the regular season against sub par opposition and then would kill them in the playoffs.

So, yes, they need a better coach, but until Jerry is gone it doesn't matter one bit as we agree. Jerry should just coach as he knows more than everyone else.

The Cowboys had a disciplinarian. His name was Jimmy Johnson. He was the instrument that brought three Lombardi trophies to Big D. Jimmy wasn’t afraid to cut players who screwed up or weren’t performing to high standards. Now that Jerah is the Supreme Mein Furher, no coach has any chance of success in Dallas. Bill Parcells couldn’t do it, and Bill Belichick won’t be able to do it as well. Until Herr Jerah is inside a pine box six feet under, the Cowboys way will continue to be Commitment to Failure.

I love Jason Witten. He’s my all-time favorite Cowboys tight end, and should be both in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Cowboys Ring of Honor. That being said, if this happens, he’ll just be another “yes” man of Jerah’s. The same could be said about Deion Sanders too.

CeeDee's body language makes him look like an unprofessional crybaby.
He is just like Dak, he only has great numbers when surrounded by other superstars. He is another guy that you can double team, and take out of the game. Superstars find a way to win and carry the team on their back. The Cowboys spent close to 100 million a year on 2 players that can't stand out on their own.

Before anyone says, "at least the Cowboys will have a high draft pick,":

First, Jerry is the one that is making it, and this team is in a different position than it has been in the past as they are free falling and a few pieces are not going to do it, especially rookies.

Secondly, there is going to be a mass exodus of veteran players, in the same way Schultz, Witten, etc left. Martin will be gone as well as Lawrence and Parsons will not be far behind. He wants to play with Quinn as many other free agents.

Lastly, Jerry will most likely draft a much needed RB, as he will think that is the answer to everything and that now he will be in the Super Bowl with Dak coming back and a rookie stud college RB, only to have no offensive line to block for him.

Until this team begins the complete rebuild, this team will be really bad, as Jerry thinks adding a few pieces is all he needs to do. As others have said on here before, they need to subtract completely, before they are going to get better, and that won't happen until Dak is gone because Jerry believes he is a star that can lead his team to the Super Bowl.

There’s a trend going on X for fans to boycott Dallas Cowboys home games. A lot of good that would do. First, it gives visiting team fans more opportunities to make it their home field advantage. More importantly, Jerah doesn’t give a shit about his football team. As long as he continues to attract events to JerryWorld, such as the boxing fiasco between an YouTube influencer clown and a 58 year old has-been, Herr Jerah will laugh all the way to the bank.
