Baseball team hasn’t been relevant since 2004-2006 when they were ranked in the top 20 in the nation. Yet people keep saying UTEP needs a baseball team
Too bad that no night baseball/ softball can be played with no lights.
Too bad they don't have juco football and basketball.

I remember when I went to VV way back in the day they were talking about starting a basketball squad. Im guessing if they start a basketball team they would need to start a women's sport to follow Title 9. They could also start a women's team. That would solve that problem. How much money do they need to start a team?? Maybe someone here could pitch in. I'm sure there is a millionaire that post here. I could be the coach I will work for cheap.

And cross country. Which they are very good at yearly. He’s the head coach. And the VV gym used to host big city or AAU tournaments in the 90’s, I wonder why that stopped.
What's the gym for if they don't have a basketball team?? Do they have a weight room?
