I just recently went the PGA Waste Management in Scottsdale with some buddies and played a few rounds too. Weather was awesome.

Im not too familier with Phoenix, but I know you can hike Camelback, Suns are playing and the Cactus league spring training is going on as well. Downtown Scottsdale has some cool shops and eating too.

Talking stick casino has a nice bar and some gambling if you and your wife like that kind of thing (and can get away).

There is the new aquarium in scottsdale. Its very cool even though im against it. They have dolphins there. Dolphins shouldnt be in Arizona.

If you're willing to drive a little further one day, my family had fun last Memorial Day at Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon, near Sedona. It's a beautiful area, and the natural water slide is fun, even though the water is cold.

I would strongly recommend the Pima Air Museum in Tucson. If you are coming from El Paso it is a quick stop. Located on the east side of Tucson right of off I-10

Maniac Is so right on! Sliderock is awesome but probably a bit cold now. But the Red Rock country of Sedona is just short of amazing to look at and even more fun to hike. For a challenge try climbing Cathedral Rock! I think it's less than a mile hike but UPHILL! There's great hiking around Bell Rock and Courthouse loop. If you want a true revival of your soul, there's very few other places to do it than in Sedona/Oak Creek.

And Bell Rock is pretty easy to climb. I've seen many kids on it that are all smiles because what they see themselves doing.
