I think so. I was a kid when I went to the game so I don’t remember the team.

Not a Dodgers fan, but the guy was a trail blazer for Mexicans in MLB.

My Dad was a big Dodgers fan and as a kid we watched Valenzuela lead the Dodgers to the World Series in 1981. Valenzuela also won the NL rookie of the year and CY Young awards that same year. He was not only a great pitcher, but a pretty good hitter too. May he rest in peace. 🪦
