OT: Next Big Thing for El Paso?

Yep, something el paso is well known for. There are Archaeological sites all over the region as there were a lot of settlements here before El Paso. Theres a plot of land near Sue Young Park that is just native desert, thanks to it being an archeological site.
I'm pretty sure it's just I-10 under there.
I Went to Saturday’s Amigo Airshow and what a circus it turned out to be. 90 degree plus temps in October!
Even though you can’t blame them for the weather, a true master class in bad business. Wouldn’t expect anything else from the people that run FC Juarez and the Locomotive.
Heard this Albertsons in Horizon City is really nice.

Apparently there are some lease agreements that need to be worked out so that the city can work the deal completely. They don't want any way the land can be yanked out.

It was people in the new Albertsons store it was packed and long lines. And a employee has to tell people to stop leaving shopping carts full of groceries and just leaving, because they didn't want to wait in line to pay. People were acting like they never been to a grocery store.

I thought it was utterly ridiculous also. It was like Black Friday from the 2000s in there like it was a pop up shop or something. People even camped overnight 😂 Sounds like Albertsons wasn’t fully staffed or prepared, and El Paso/Horizon showed up with all their tios and tias. Maybe that catches HEBs attention lol
People in El Paso get excited about anything new. Especially if there is a freebie involved
Bob Moore is a retired editor and writer for years in El Paso and he acknowledged On "AMA El Paso" on reddit and it's immediate impact news reporting. He didn't mention how they use humor, pop item news and cheeky humor that young people follow. However, fitfam alienates a ton of El Paso, too.
Bob is a great guy and a very good reporter/editor. He started epmediamatters when he was basically forced out of the times. In fairness, he resigned when they told him to cut more staff. He took one for the team.
However, he is WAY far left, not open to new ideas/criticism and will block you in a second.
Also, he's a hard core Broncos fan. 🤮

Well the issue was about a 34 story building and you came up with North Korea been safer, then you come up with Trump been back and making America Great again. I honestly don't understand what all of that has to do with a 34 story building. Hopefully Trump builds more skyscrapers in El Paso.
