UTEP's "getting back into the black" returns.
This is a great development and will help so many people in the community.
I wonder what kind of cancer treatment people will get here that they can't get already?
It’s usually to treat rare and aggressive cancers. So that’s a good thing because I’m sure that’s a huge strain for individuals going through treatment. The medical bills and stress of cancer is bad enough. Imagine having to pay to go seek treatment out of town? A place like this can’t open soon enough for El Pasoans going through agressive or rare forms of cancer. Plus if you open a place like this, you’re going to bring in experts in their field that that diagnose and treat these things. So great move.Don’t know what it is, but there is a reason people have to go to Houston or Phoenix.
💯 and 8106 is spot on too. I’ve seen numerous families grateful for Angel Flight services to get to Houston. To think of the families that aren’t selected, that would super disheartening in an already taxing situation.Don’t know what it is, but there is a reason people have to go to Houston or Phoenix.
Honestly I’m more excited this is breaking ground and happening than anything else. Stupid politicians can’t get a stadium built, can’t bring in Great Wolf Lodge, but I’ll take a cancer treatment center any day.💯 and 8106 is spot on too. Great news indeed!
Looks like the city abandoned a lot of the street cleaning positions so they supposedly wouldn't have to raise taxes. I've asked my city rep to get the streets cleaned and lit over the past two years. I have also complained about the lack of police. Never once did he mention what's in this article.A bunch of city jobs available. Why nobody want to work or is the city officials doing it on purpose?? They can't give themselves raises if they start hiring. 🤨🤨🤨

Not in El Paso as far as I know. Maybe some countiesDon't they give the street cleaning businesses to the jails/corrections??? Why pay someone when you can hire cheap labor?
