Poor overall product from UTEP today, in all aspects.

- The stadium announcer twice announced the wrong down today and didn't realize his mistake(I.E. he said it was 3rd down instead of 2nd down).

- The stadium announcer said that a pass was intended for "Natkin", when it was intended for Napier. I have no clue what he was thinking about, Natkin is a coach, not a player.

- No promotions as you entered the stadium. Seriously, we only had 5 home games this season and yet we could not find/coordinate a giveaway promotion sponsor for even 3 of our home games? Yet, our triple A baseball team does like 30-40 giveaway nights every year. Hell the Chihuahuas giveaway a t-shirt every single Tuesday, yet UTEP can't find a way to do the same for only 5 home games?

- The TV's above the food concession windows on the westside of the stadium were showing the Georgia vs. Kentucky football game during the 1st half instead of the UTEP feed as normal.

- The same repetitive songs that were played over the loud speakers during the first home game, still being played in the same game situations in the 5th home game. No imagination, no update, and really no effort.

- Oh and most importantly, the product on the field was painful to watch at times. We are now the only D1 team in America to have not won a single game this year.

- On the bright side, the weather was mostly good, the security people were very nice as always when both entering and leaving, and traffic was very quick & easy both getting into and out of campus.

Overall, I sincerely hope that some major changes are coming to the Athletic Department! I attended every home game this season, but I can honestly say that attending games this season was rarely fun.

What would you estimate attendance was?

I actually thought attendance was relatively decent considering it was for an 0-10 football team(and a program that has had 11 losing seasons in the past 12 years). Roughly in the 13k-15k range would be my estimate, at least before people started leaving.

Spectacular day for a football game.

The new AD needs to show this video to their staff. The whole operation is “old and dumb”...

-When UTEP is on offense, music should not be played. It should be the opposite, quiet please.
-Make better use of the video board, drop the sponsors bottom line until there is stop in play.
-Enhance your field lighting especially for the night games and television presentation:

The fan etiquete has always been lacking. How many times were fans doing the Mexican wave when Palmer and co were on the field. I remember TV commentators from ESPN commenting on how the fans should be quiet.
