Couple of questions for your friends daughter:I have to give them some credit. For the most part, they have been gawd awful since they started playing. My friend's daughter was highly ranked in high school, recruited to UTEP, decided she wanted to stay home and play for the hometown team. (Previous coach) She somehow got in the doghouse with the staff and barely played her final 2 years. She stuck it out, got her degree, and was a finalist for state teacher of the year last year.
Senter got rid of that staff. They have been slowly building a program and it shows with this year's team. They are actually getting fans AND wins. If they can grab a couple more stud pitchers, they will be off to the races.
Softball isn't like hoops. You NEED more players that can impact the game, not just like 3.
1. Did she (and teammates) feel like the administration and athletic department supported the program?
2. How were the facilities at the other conference schools compared to HoT Field?
