Some of these YouTube stars can actually play. Jaden Newman is probably overrated she is only playing because father is the coach. Julian Newman not getting any offers because he is very short. It's just like the Ball family. Lot of people here didnt want to give the balls a scholarship. Look at them now they actually had skills.
So why is no other program offering these "stars" scholarships if they can actually "play"? Get off YouTube and read a book.
A huge difference in Kugler offering local kids vs basketball offering local kids scholarships is the amount. There are fewer basketball scholarships which doesn’t allow for as much dead weight and given both basketball teams are looking to get into the tournament, there’s no need for an added distraction. Katia and Avery are doing great as faces of the women’s team on social media and if the men start winning again the social media presence will take of itself.
