Lathon's confidence on the offensive end is completely inexistant.

He missed two free throws to ice the game last night and they weren't even close - clankers. He also had two clear drives to the basket in the second half and chose to pass it to the corners for a 3 point shot instead.

That said, he did contribute in other ways like handling the press and defensievly and it seems like his attitude is to help however he can until he gets out of this funk.

FWIW, he and Hawkins were high fiving and the tossing of the towel thing is standard operating procedure. He did make an awesome shot last night but it was after the shot clock had expired.

I think he's beginning to come out of his funk. Props to CRT for letting him play his way through it.

Overall the guard play was uplifting. None of the guards except the rookie were trying to force the offense last night.

Both spot on crystal clear observations.

But I don't get why CRT has Lathon pumping the brakes?

Lathon also passed up a wide open corner 3 and an open drive in the 1st half as well. He seems to be ok except on offense. Even Teicher asked Terry about it and he said he just tells him "to get lost in his defense" and things will come.

Confidence is an obviously an issue, but his shot mechanics (which was never the greatest) also seem odd. He appears to have no touch on the ball and he fires it up way too hard. Even in warm-ups something is amiss. Never seen a slump effect a player as bad as this one. Time to call a shot doctor.
